We are a lancashire-based portrait photography service specialising in creative/corporate headshots and retro photography.
In terms of retro photography, we concentrate on the 1920s and 1930s - the glory days of Old Hollywood! We take our inspiration from the great hollywood stills photographers like George Hurrell, c. s. Bull and F.R. Richee. We approach this in three different ways: (a) by giving a 'flavour' of Old Hollywood photographers by using props, lighting and composition, but also by giving this a glamorous modern twist (See portfolio 1 below). (B) by using very theatrical, low key lighting with prominent shadows and a moody atmosphere typical of the 1930s (see portfolio 2). (c) by creating a fully glamorous or soft-focus approach typical of the 1920s (portfolio to follow). Whether you are having a gatsby or Peaky Blinders-themed party, or if you and a friend want to channel your inner greta Garbo or marlene dietrich - this could be the fun package for you!
